I know people from work
They see me everyday
I know people from school
They always have a lot to say
I know a lot of people
I know a lot of people
I know people from hobbies
They fill all my time
I know people in my family
They’ve been there all my life
I know people from the pub
They can all down a quart
I know people from the internet
Usually they are the good sort
I know a lot of people
But people don’t really know me
Friendship is forever but I wouldn’t know
I don’t really have close friends
Social interaction is a perplexing thing
I’ve never seen it through another lens
I know a lot of people
I know people know one another
It makes sense to me
But why can’t I make that connection
That will stop me being so lonely?
